As we approach the Sept 11th
anniversary we notice a lot of reflection and talk of an American Tragedy. This is slightly disturbing because it totally
misses the point. The murder of what the world refers to as innocent people in NY & DC is indeed tragic. But for most,
the word tragedy conjures feelings of defeat and mourning. What we sustained was an attack. An
aggressively vile, attack on American soil by a group of mislead and very deceived people. The word attack
brings about a more proper perspective, which sharpens our resolve. Although we are told a lot about these times and days,
as well as the actions of a people whose love has waxed cold, many reject the truth of God and are left asking "why?"
In the mist of all the rampant evolutionary hoopla,
we need a reformation of our theology in ways of which people are reached. Staggering statistics: 7 out of 10 of
young people growing up in churches reject the idea of God and the authority of the Bible by the time they reach college.
This is really no surprise.
Children and young people have been and are being
taught pat Bible stories (Adam & Eve, Noah and the Ark, Tower of Babel, etc.) without the foundational explanations needed
to defend their faith when it counts.
And how can they when most seminaries (Garrett,
Princeton, Wheaton, etc.) are teaching so many would-be Christians that the Bible (God's Word) cannot be taken literally.
A recent study on the American debate on evolution this year surveyed deans at 237 theological seminaries about their schools'
approach to the topic. The question posed was: Which view of natural history and human origins predominates on their
campus:
About two-thirds of the deans indicated that their
schools adhere to either theistic evolution; progressive creation; or a mixture of the two -- all suggesting an ancient universe
-- all suggesting that the Word of God is unreliable, flawed and untrue. Less than a tenth of the schools support the
literal interpretation of history & creation according to the Bible.
These are the graduates who go on to stand before
the largest congregations, indoctrinating the sheep into further deception, by weakening their faith with soured milk. The
world is SHOUTING, "The Bible's not true. Science knows better. What about Dinosaurs? Where did all the races come from?
Who was Cain's wife? Trust in man!" And we, the church seem content to rotely answer those charges by just telling them
to "Trust in Jesus."
It is simply not enough to answer the "how?" when
they've asked the "why?" You cannot crush not the enemy by avoiding it. In fact you can't even defend yourself against an
attack by simply dismissing it. Yet we, the church are ignoring these blatant attacks. We are NOT defending, let alone crushing
the charges of the world. So the charges keep piling up, and the lie spreads and gets louder and louder. Instead we have people
flocking to messages of popular so-called Christian leaders such as James Dobson, Robert Schueler and false teachers
like Benny Hinn -the majority all of whom have publicly stated that the Word of God according to it's History cannot
be taken literally. Yes, they and many, many, many others have discounted the infallible Word of God in favor of the man's
fallible theology of Big Bang, Millions of Years, Gap Theory, and Theistic Evolution. Without question, evolution is the secular
root of atheism, communism, Nazism, economic imperialism, militarism, racism, libertinism, anarchism, and all manner of anti-Christian
systems of belief and practice.
No, most are not attacking the virgin birth
or the resurrection. -Not from inside the church at least. These things are way too foundational and central to Christianity.
So the enemy is attacking its history, Genesis. Denial of God's power and sovereignty in creation is of course foundational
in the rejection of His authority in every other sphere. So by discrediting it's history, they discount the infallible Word
of God. In this the enemy has successfully lead people to doubt the fact that the Bible is the ultimate authority and author
of history or for that matter, even really God's Word. - If there is a God at all.
That is the pattern, which is why we are losing
the cultural war from the inside out. Satan was clever; he didn't start by outright denial. He started by planting the seed
of doubt.-- Twisting the Word of God. As satan cannot create anything, he is doing nothing but more of the same. The only
difference is that dark spirit flows through millions around the world, and this fallen, post-Adam world has chosen to accept
it and echo it. Loudly.
This lie is not being challenged enough, and most
of our Christians and churches are not giving ANSWERS to the charges, which leaves us salt-less Christians. -"Ye are the
salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing,
but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." -Jesus
Losing the culture is not the problem. It is the
symptom. It is the symptom of spineless church leaders and lazy Christians who've relied on the world to teach our children
about history, biology, geology and anthropology when the Bible is the ultimate authority on all these matters. Instead of
influencing the world, we have allowed the world into our churches and dismissed the existence of an omnipotent, omnipresent
God, our father and creator of all things.
The geneology of Jesus makes it clear that 42nd generation Christians (Matthew 1) are joint heirs to the throne and soldiers of the cross. But what good
is a soldier who has not taken his job seriously enough to prepare for the day of battle against the enemy? As soldiers we
are called to defend the cross, defend our faith and the name of our Lord who is the author and finisher of our faith. Should
we simply ignore or avoid the opportunity to witness and defend because we have not diligently studied to show ourselves approved?
Jesus said, If you love me you will keep my commandments.
For all professing to love Jesus, it was His Command to "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.... In Matthew he said, make disciples among the nations. Throughout the Bible God has repeatedly instructed
us to intimately know His Word. We have to intimately know our faith in order to defend it, and defend it in order to win
others. And this is key. IT NEEDS DEFENDING AGAINST A NON-CHRISTIAN WORLD THAT HAS ACCEPTED
THE GREAT DECEPTION, REJECTING THE WORD OF GOD AS BIBLICAL MYTHS AND FAIRYTALES.
Satan is busy recruiting everyone to hell while
we sit among each other discussing how nice it is to be saved. This has got to stop. We need a reformation before revival.
We need soldiers to embrace their swords with the passion to defend it and crush the enemy. I refuse to lay
defeated when my Lord has told me to be victorious.
It is awful that on the anniversary of the attack on what is considered by most as
a Christian nation, we still cannot get our fellow Americans to see the bigger picture. We
keep hearing the interviews tragedies and replays of people asking "why?" The
number of " 2500 innocent lives lost -or taken" is one that brings a lot of Americans to a somber if not mournful or angry
state. However nearly double the number of babies are killed everyday (1
1/2 million per yr) in
this country by our own hands, and yet there is no memorial to speak of. No commerative coins, docu-dramas, flags, songs, parades or mention of mourning time
or time spent with loved ones and families. ..And this is the reaction of a world indoctrinated to doubt the authority of
the Word of God.
2 Timothy 3
4 Traitors, heady, highminded,
lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the
power thereof: from such turn away.
